Doubting My Faith
For when you feel: losing my faith, is God real, deconstruction, hard questions

A father pushed through the crowd with his suffering son, and when Jesus asked if he believed, the man gave the most honest answer in the Gospels: "Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." Belief and unbelief in the same breath, and Jesus answered that prayer. He did not send the man away to sort out his theology first. Doubt is not the opposite of faith, indifference is. The doubter is still at the table, still asking, still wrestling like Jacob at the river, and wrestling is contact. So bring your questions to God rather than only about Him. Read the Gospels again with your hardest one in hand. Faith the size of a mustard seed, Jesus said, is enough to work with, and He meant it.
