The MinuteSermon

Ten lepers were healed on the road that day, and one turned around. The other nine were not monsters, just people, hurrying back into their lives the way we all do the moment a crisis lifts. Answered prayers evaporate from memory faster than almost anything, which is why the psalmist commands his own soul: "forget not all his benefits." Gratitude, in Scripture, is a discipline of memory before it is ever a feeling. So today, be the one who comes back. Thank Him specifically, not for everything in general but for this thing, on this day, when you asked. Write it down, because an answered prayer recorded becomes courage for the next unanswered one. God has a track record with you now. Keep the receipts.
