Christmas
For when you feel: Christmas morning, nativity, Christmas devotion
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!
The MinuteSermon
It was the middle of the night watch, and the men who heard the first Christmas announcement smelled like sheep. The biggest news in history skipped every palace and found shepherds in a field. The angel began with "Fear not" and handed them "good tidings of great joy," then gave the address: "unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour." The shepherds heard their own names inside that word, and so should you. Not unto the qualified or the ready, but unto you. However this Christmas finds you, full house or quiet one, grieving or glad, the tidings stand. He came all the way down, on purpose, for you. Fear not. Great joy. He is here.
