Feeling Alone
For when you feel: lonely, no one understands, isolated, invisible
Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."
The MinuteSermon
The room can be full and you can still feel like the only one not woven in. Loneliness talks in absolutes, telling you that nobody cares and that everyone else belongs. God answers with a promise that has no exceptions clause: "he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." He spoke it to Israel at a terrifying threshold, said it again to Joshua, and said it again in Hebrews, because He knows we need it repeated. You can be overlooked by a whole room and still be accompanied by the Maker of it, and that is the deepest companionship there is. Often His next move is to send His presence wearing skin. Keep watch for the person He is nudging toward you, and the one He is nudging you toward.

A prayer for this moment
Lord, when I feel invisible, remind me I am seen, known, and never forsaken. And lead me toward the people You've prepared. Amen.
