The MinuteSermon

You refresh the inbox again, half hoping, half bracing. Losing a job takes more than income. It takes the easy answer to the question of what you do, and it fills the days with applications and silence. Heaven keeps a different ledger. Your needs are set against "his riches in glory," an account that has never once run dry. And the search itself, every interview and every door that will not open, sits under a promise: "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Some closed doors are rejection. Some are navigation. So work the search diligently and pray over it daily, remembering that your identity was never your title. You were His before you were anything on a résumé.
